Location
The Lodge at Tikana is situated in the heart of Southland, in the South Island of New Zealand.
Southland is home to New Zealand’s finest farmland and most awesome array of scenery.
The population is sparse and the traffic minimal.
Our central Southland location in Browns, near Winton, makes for daytrips to Fiordland, Stewart Island and The Catlins.
Transfers from Invercargill Airport:
Hire cars are available at the airport.
Chauffeur driven pick-up and drop-off can be arranged.
Helicopter transfers can be arranged

Travel times to and from Tikana:
Invercargill: 30 minutes
Te Anau (Fiordland): 1 hour 15 mins
Queenstown: 1 hour 45 mins
Stewart Island: 30 mins drive to Invercargill and a 20 mins flight
or a 1 hour drive to Bluff and a 1 hour ferry trip
Dunedin: 2 hours 15 mins for direct route or
via The Catlins (Southern Scenic Route) allow all day
